I have come to accept each woman as she needs to be seen. A woman who is doing the best that she can. We will not always see eye to eye because we all approach life differently, because of how we were taught by those who poured into our lives. Some of us get it, and some don’t. The bottom line—none of us is perfect, we all have our flaws, but it does not mean some of us deserve more love and attention than others. If you cut us with a knife, we all have the same red blood flowing from our veins.
I commit to not thinking less of another woman. I commit to loving all of us despite what we may present, and yes, some will have to be loved from a distance, but I will love nonetheless. The Bible speaks about the power of love and what love can and will accomplish. So I commit myself to love.
Let me be clear – if I do not call you, it doesn’t mean I do not love you. If I am unable to support you at a particular time, it does not mean I do not love you. If I change my mind about something, it does not mean I do not love you. We must move beyond the petty (even if we feel it is warranted) and accept what each of us offers, in and with love. It is time for us to build each other in a genuine and unpretentious way filled with unconditional love.
It is the best way, are you with me?
