So late last year, I went into somewhat of a hibernation. Many would not have noticed because I was STILL present on Social media, doing the rounds, and having the conversations. However, I was quietly and intentionally absent from it all. It may sound confusing now, but there may come a time when you will remember reading this, and understand. In my quiet time, I came across “when we get tired of our own BS, that is when the magic begins to happen”.
Now I must admit there were times before encountering this statement that I became tired of my own BS, and changed. Also, times when individuals would come to me lamenting about their situations and I lovingly but firmly shared that change will come when you are tired of talking about it and want the change. Have you ever experienced that?
So as I mentally detached, I saw myself in a way that said enough of the hiding. To make matters worse, I was told by someone I didn’t know that I was to stop being afraid of my greatness. To be told that by a complete stranger is a little disconcerting if I may say so. I didn’t react in the usual way, I accepted what she said because it was the truth. I WAS DOING THAT. Are you?
It’s funny how we may seem to others that we are pushing past our boundaries. Little do they know that there is so much more within; and each of us in this position knows this to be true about us. There is so much more to us!
So I made a needed move and have been praying earnestly for impactful strategies to positively affect my business, family, feelings of fulfillment, my legacy, and my life. I am praying for consistency, discipline, and stick-to-itiveness to become more. So I wanted to share with you a couple of the free tools for women (strategies that came to me) that I will be incorporating in 2023. Tools I believe can help you win in 2023.
First of five (Mostly) Free Tools!
I came across this journal in a feature written by #beyondwoman writer Khadine Whittaker. I am a big proponent of Journaling and I often look at past journal notes and am amazed to see myself living those written words. This is not the Law of attraction, but us being firm, kind, and realistic with ourselves. It is you being authentic and courageous as you record your joys, doubts, fears, and the things you are hoping for yourself and those who matter. This is planning your decisions and opening yourself to successfully executing them, rather than the wishing and hoping trap we sometimes get caught in.
This is what organising your life can look like. Journaling will help you accomplish all the foregoing and more once you commit to it. If you have no clue how to journal, ask google—he/she will provide you with tips. Incorporating JOURNALING into your daily activities is a big deal. Consider it alone time with yourself. One of the Strategies I received this year was to plan my entire year, I usually plan month to month, and while doing that helped, it did not free me up as much as I needed to work on my business rather than in my business. So having a complete 360° annual plan will be a game changer. The other tool attached to this is a calendar I bought from Carli Media that helps me create monthly content. Listen! This is a big deal, so get it in your toolbox for 2023. It’s about 24 USD—not a bad price for a year’s worth of tips, insights, and suggestions. Enuff said! Watch this 3-minute video. Let me know if you need help with your own annual spreadsheet. Get the calendar HERE.
Third Of Five (Mostly) Free Tools.
If you are not using this tool, you are missing out. It’s CANVA ladies. Canva is an excellent tool that allows you to organise and create visual content for the various platforms you will engage with socially. These platforms include IG, FB, Linkedin, Email marketing, and others that require you to create Videos, Reels, Posts, and more to capture the attention of your targeted audience. And the big deal is you need no prior knowledge of graphic design. Ask us about our tutorial on Canva Basics.

Fourth Of Five (Mostly) Free Tools For Women.
I can’t stress the importance of building our email list. Remember that time when INSTAGRAM LIGHTS WENT OUT? At that moment I became even more passionate about us as businesswomen creating and building an email list of (potential) customers and clients. While it is imperative to be visible on these other platforms( IG, FB), we must include email marketing to stay in close contact with our community. I have used the Mailchimp platform for many years and will continue to use it. Mailchimp allows you to schedule emails, so even if you want to get that out of the way for an entire year, it is possible. A major deal that frees you up to really focus on building your business. Get to scheduling! Visit HERE

Consider investing in a coach. There is much to say that would justify this suggestion because there are deeply ingrained experiences in our psyche that hold us back from success; requiring us to seek professional help to unearth them and move from zero to our ideal position of success. A word of caution—a coach is our support, but you must do the required work to transform your life. A good coach gets you to focus causing you to move forward bravely, intentionally, and successfully. Listen in on this 45 seconds clip below. Click this link to view the complete conversation.
