How invested in this life are you?
That is the question that we are asking on this #MindsetMonday.
How invested are you in your Spiritual Journey? And how emotionally invested are you in your life journey? Are you surrounded by quality individuals as well as the right relationships for your life? What is your investment in your business and making your career one you are proud of? What about the quality of your life, which is not determined by your bank balance but by peace and love and joy? Things that are not fleeting but lasting. Your answers will determine your interaction and reaction to life and how invested you truly are.
Are you meandering through life or have you found meaning and purpose; so that your life becomes richer and more worthwhile not only to you but to others.
I had to ask the same question of myself. If we do not become emotionally and spiritually invested in the right things that will yield the desired expected rate of return and one that makes sense then more than likely your life will not be the way it should.
Your level of investment is directly correlated to your commitment and your outcome. It has to be significant and substantial in order for you to achieve optimally.
I thought about our relationships and the reason why we are so fickle sometimes. Is it possible that we are not substantially emotionally invested in them and so we call it quits the moment something goes awry. A substantial emotional investment will force us to remain committed because we cannot afford to lose what we have put in.
What about your spirituality? What does this look like; this also requires a substantial investment. Spiritual investment allows you to rise above everyday challenges? And grow in wisdom to counter the effects of negativity that will surround you.
If something is not going as it should or if you find yourself giving up easily then you must ask yourself – how invested am I? Is it substantial or minuscule?
What are your thoughts? How invested are you?
