Today Is The Best Monday For You!

It’s another Monday, it is not a surprise, it is expected just as we will expect about 15 other Mondays before the year ends. What makes this Monday special however is the fact that it can be the best Monday to date as well as a new precedence for the Mondays to come.

WHAT DO YOU SAY? Are you on board with us? Whether you have been having great Mondays is not the question because we can bet that some of you are crushing those Monday goals and the blues that comes along. Guess what though, there is still room for improvement as well as the opportunity to support and encourage a sister who is not there. Better yet to help her get to the point where she too will begin to have awesome Mondays and live more wholesomely.

So how can we help, here are 5 tips to help in making Awesome Mondays!

  • Start with Prayer nothing beats saying a prayer for strength to have a good day. Being thankful that you get to experience and proactively make your day the way it needs to be. So whatever you are doing in this moment – stop – say that prayer and feel the energy that will transcend this moment to what you need it to be
  • This may sound silly but go back in your music archives and choose a song that inspires or reminds you of a happy place – for me, it is a song I came across by Jai Lynn “Its A New day”

  • Choose 1 hard and and 2 easy task to accomplish, WRITE THEM DOWN. Start with an easy one first – it could be something personal for example – Do you struggle with exercising? well so do I, so how about we do this together – 10 push ups before we hit the shower… just that. Then choose a hard task that you will commit to accomplishing before the day ends. I am leaving it up to you to exercise discipline, you owe it to yourself – push yourself. Once you have done the hard task, reward yourself with another easy task to finish things off. What do you think? Great plan? YOU WOULD HAVE DONE 3 GOALS/TASKS TODAY! CONGRATS!
  • Find someone to encourage or help in some way – No need to expound on this… just do it. The satisfaction will be unmatched!
  • Throughout the day be thankful, feel everything that would allow you to experience your ideal day/life and dwell on that. Focus on the good only. Do not accommodate thoughts of what you do not want but focus on what you want.

It’s not the big things that create change but rather the acknowledgement that change is needed and then committing to simple things that our minds can handle. In taking action and doing these simple things we are creating change. Generally our minds are not wired for hard neither success, we have to do the things that will allow our minds to not feel threatened, then shut down. So go easy, simple then once adjusted mentally, tackle the difficult.
