Issues In Your Tissues

As women, we believe that we must be superheroes. Where did that come from? Some of us are people pleasers, and some of us were thrust into roles as mothers to people who take more than they give. At some point, our thoughts turn against us indirectly because we begin to not like who we have become and where we are.

The resultant effect is that our thoughts begin to affect us and hey! they become “issues in our tissues”.

Whether we believe it or not we are what we think! Our thoughts make or break us! Our thoughts free us or enslave us.

SO WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? Are they issues in Your Tissues?  Do you feel tired, sick, depressed, unworthy, or unproductive maybe it’s as serious as some medical health challenge. These could stem from your experiences and your thoughts. So the question is…WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

Are your thoughts pleasant? Are they geared towards love, are they happy & positive?

The health benefits of positive thinking:

Researchers continue to explore the effects of positive thinking and optimism on health. Health benefits that positive thinking may provide include:

  • Increased life span
  • Lower rates of depression
  • Lower levels of distress
  • Greater resistance to the common cold
  • Better psychological and physical well-being
  • Better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
  • Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress

It’s unclear why people who engage in positive thinking experience these health benefits. One theory is that having a positive outlook enables you to cope better with stressful situations, which reduces the harmful health effects of stress on your body.
