Your Energy is Important To Your Well-Being

The energy we exude… hmmm, how many of us think about the kind of energy we exude or even care enough to ensure that our energy is on pointe?

Many times we complain about our circumstances. Perhaps we should step back and assess independently what is before – the circumstance as it is, it may point back to us. A sad eye opener perhaps, but truth nonetheless.

  • We may think we are not loved enough by our significant other: But do we love back or ask ourselves the question – does our attitude allow love to come to us?
  • We talk about not having enough: Are we exuding the posture that says I have more than I need ( giving)?
  • We want to be promoted on the job: Are we looking at  ways to improve the business process or are we complaining about our bosses and our job?

Need I ask more questions? I don’t think so … I think you get the gist.

If most women are like who I was a couple years ago and on occasion when my monthly crisis hits (smile) THEN IT SIMPLY MEANS THAT WE ARE FORGETTING THIS ONE CONCEPT: That our energy is important to our well being. Can you then understand why the world is in trouble ( which it really is)?

It is hard having the right energy all the time, well, it’s down right difficult if you ask me, but, perhaps we can do these 3 things (as a start) to help us:

1. Repeat Affirmations.

Repeating  Affirmations upon waking sets the tone of your day. It helps to position your mindset and also helps you to turn negative thoughts into positive ones. We also suggest affirmations and prayer before you go to bed. It allows your mind to focus on good things while you sleep.

2. Choose to be happy.

Believe it or not you do have a choice. Imagine going out with girlfriends and everything is going well until the server mixes up your order. Do you get upset or do you choose to let it pass, because everyone can make a mistake? Choosing to let it go will allow you to continue enjoying the evening. Your power lies in your choice to be happy, never give that away.

3. Surround yourself with upbeat people.

Whether we accept it or not it is true that we are who we spend the most time with. So why not spend time with people of quality. This may be hard but worthwhile to your wellbeing.

Energy vampires are around us all the time. They put in appearances via our family, friends, coworkers, our circumstances and even us.  If we intentionally become more aware of our environment and practice the above suggestions as well as coming up with a few of our own we assure you in no time your energy will be the type you need to ensure that your well being is in “tip top” shape!
