The Beyond

Read Time: 2 minutes:

Ephesians 3:20 (NASB) Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…

So this thought came to mind (and it had to be my Spirit), far too many of us live from our soul rather than our spirit. The spirit within us who guides and directs and transforms us. The spirit that enables us to dwell on places or things mentally that would surprise us. The spirit that allows us to stand out in a crowd of faces that all look the same.

The question is – what if amidst all that we are going through, presently- what if we were able to place ourselves in the “the beyond ” frame of mind whilst simultaneously experiencing now? What if we were able to be present among the challenges and the hurt and the distraught and the mistrust of this misguided and empty selfish world that we exist in. What if we could position ourselves in the the beyond of all of this… Wouldn’t that be exciting? That is the power of the Beyond.

The Beyond is exciting, once we are there we begin to win this rat race of life that we are constantly running in. We become champions against the very negatives that put themselves up against us. We become untouchable and far removed, hidden deeply in what only we understand the beyond to be.

The beyond is a place where everyone wants to be but only those who answer their call in a wholesome, genuine and selfless way will get to. The beyond does not call for the “me” mentality. The beyond does not call for pretense, the beyond accommodates only righteous living. We would go beyond for others, deeply entrenched in the overflow of goodness. The beyond is for the faithful ones that will ensure that they are deeply rooted and connected with their life giving force who is God. The beyond is unimaginable, but, at the same time, through faith, we understand that when we get there it will be all we imagined and far more.

In 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV) says But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

That is how we envision the Beyond to be. What a glorious day it will be when we dwell in the beyond not mentally but in a spiritual all consuming way.
