Choice is such a powerful thing that I believe we underestimate. . 

I believe choice is one of the tools that opens or closes doors and windows of opportunity for all of us.

I believe making good choices against everything that tells us otherwise allows good things to enter our lives.

We have been given dominion on this earth and it simply means we have some control over our experiences in this life which by the way, is, as a result of the choices we make.

We understand the consequences of choosing good over bad. We can choose to not cheat, lie, steal, gossip and stay in an abusive situation…. we can choose to not be around certain people. We can choose to not wallow in discouragement or indulge in pity parties because all of this goes against having a wonderful experience of life.

We can choose to lift ourselves out of discouragement or anger.

The bible demonstrates the choice we have through David’s story. He could have remained in a defeated mindset when the Amalekites had raided his city of Ziklag and burned it to the ground. They had also taken the women and children. His wife and children were taken also and his own men began talking of killing him. David was at a crossroads like so many of us at different point in our lives. The lesson here is that David turned to God, that was a choice he made and that choice restored his entire city to him along with so much more. (Read Here for full story of David)

We are Beyond women and we understand that when we are at a crossroads we need to turn to God who knows what is best for us. That is the foundation we stand on (Ephesians 3:20) Our choices should come from our Spirit within (God’s Spirit).

When we get quiet and in-tuned with our spirit – direction will come and our choices will follow!
